P.E will be on Thursday. Please send your child to school dressed in their PE kit (school polo, jogging bottoms, trainers).

Reading

Reading books will be sent home every Monday and need to be returned on the Friday ready for us to give your child a new book the following week. Please can you ensure a comment is written in the home reader as without this we are unable to change their books. 

Autumn Term 2025.

This term, our exciting topic is called "A Walk Through Time"! Dosbarth Pinc will be stepping back into the past to learn all about the Tudors. We’ll explore what life was like during Tudor times, discover fascinating facts about famous kings and queens, and find out how people lived, dressed, and went to school. It’s going to be a fun and engaging journey through history, with lots of opportunities for creative activities and hands-on learning!

Spring term 2025...

Our topic this term is 'How can I help you?'.  

In this topic, children will explore the importance of helping others in our local community. They will learn about Big Bocs Bwyd, a community initiative that provides food and support and discuss ways they can contribute. The topic also introduces different leaders—such as community helpers, school leaders, and national figures—who work to make our society better. Children will also explore why we have rules and laws, understanding how they keep us safe and ensure fairness. Through discussions, activities, and real-life examples, this topic will help children develop a sense of responsibility, kindness, and an understanding of how small actions can make a big difference in their community.
