Welcome to Dosbarth Oren / Croeso i Dosbarth Oren    

Dosbarth Oren is located in the upper school and is made up of children who are in Year 4 and Year 5. Our learning is focussed primarily within Progression Step 3 of the Curriculum for Wales. 

Mr Rosser is the Class Teacher and Mrs Jones-Thole supports learning as the Higher Level Teaching Assistant.   

P.E

P.E day is Thursday. Pupils can wear P.E kit on this day with appropriate footwear. 

Children will be attending swimming lessons during the Summer term. Further details will be sent home as and when available. 

Outdoor learning days will vary depending on weather and availability each week. A message will be sent home to parents (if needed) to ask that children are provided with appropriate clothing and additional footwear (e.g wellies) as and when they are required.

Home reading books.

Books will go home with all pupils every Monday and will need to be returned every Friday please. Please make every effort to complete this short reading task every week at home, as it is so important that your children have every opportunity to read and be read with, by a supportive adult. 

This Term.

Our topic this term is... How can I help?

We will be looking at how democracy works at UK, Wales and a local level, and how each level has different responsibilities and ways of helping us. How laws are made and how they have changed over time. We will then focus on our children's rights and responsibilities and how they can make a difference in their own community by helping ourselves and others.
