Croeso i’r Criw Cymraeg!

Shwmae pawb! Glenboi have appointed some of our fantastic pupils to represent our schools Criw Cymraeg. These children have a responsibility to promote the use of Welsh and the Welsh ethos around our school!

The Welsh government are hoping to have one million Welsh speakers by 2050.
The Welsh Language charter has been introduced to help achieve this goal.
‘Cymraeg Campus’ provides a framework which is used to promote a strong Welsh ethos in schools across Wales.

We are currently working towards achieving our Bronze Award and have just a few more targets to tick off this academic year in order to receive this! This will be achieved through a whole school approach and is an event the Criw Cymraeg and Miss Nixon are looking forward to!
