Eco Committee

Do you care about environmental issues such as litter, energy saving, saving habitats and growing our own food? Are you interested in making a positive change at our school?

Miss Bundy is looking for enthusiastic pupils to join Eco Club and lead the way in shaping a greener future for Glenboi Community Primary School.

Eco Club will run every week and we will focus on a different topic each time. One week we could be energy-saving inspectors and the next week we could be the litter crew or green gardeners or bug buddies or waste warriors? The Eco Club would also be in charge of planning, running and promoting Eco events around school.

It is really important that we take care of our planet and we are so lucky that in our school we have a lovely woodland area where plants, animals and insects can thrive. Together we can make our school, community and wider world a greener place and hopefully achieve ‘Eco School awards’ along the way!
